Different Biomes

The biomes I found were a stream, a temperate forest, an oceanic pelagic biome, a savanna, and a desert.

This stream is found in the outskirts of my neighborhood, located close to 8 Grindstone Ct, Westborough, MA.
This is the temperate forest in my backyard, 8 Sawmill Drive, Westborough, MA. This image shows the oceanic pelagic biome, located at Crane's Beach, 290 Argilla Road in Ipswich, MA.
The image below shows the savanna biome, specifically the African Savanna, which stretches from 15 degrees North to 30 degrees South (latitude) and 15 degrees West to 40 degrees West (longitude). This photo was taken off of blueplantbiomes.org. (http://www.blueplanetbiomes.org/african_savanna.htm)

This image captures the Sahara desert, another biome. The approximate latitude for the Sahara Desert is 29 degrees North and 7 degrees West. This image was found at photos.igougo.com. (http://photos.igougo.com/images/p195855-Timbuktu-The_Sahara_Desert.jpg)

  1. Kelsie, I've been skipping over an issue that should be fixed. Your "ocean" photo is too vague for the biome. Its a specific portion of the marine biome. Can you correct it please? It would be 10 points of the category as its the 5th photo!

  2. Would the correct term for this photo be oceanic pelagic biome because it is open water?
