Bladderwrack, Protist ~ Fucus vesiculosus. This was found in the Boston Harbor with approximate coordinates of 42.33 degrees North and 70.98 degrees West.

ReplyDeleteI'd hate to stifle your creativity by providing you with a cut-and-dry answer to this. I'll tell you though that what was known as Protista is actually at least 19 different kingdoms (and perhaps more according to some biologists). Of course, Archaea and Bacteria are more common than the eukaryotes we've been posting. They even sometimes make biofilms...

ReplyDeleteHowever, it is a little hard to identify it. Even after I found out it was ringless honey mushroom, I still had to find more pictures of it to make sure.
The seaweed was added on. But since I don't know the classification of the seaweed, does it not count?
