Example of Reproductive isolation
This is a picture of a
mule
(Equus asinus x Equus caballus) found on Route 5 in Newbury VT. It is an example of
post-zygotic
(after breeding)
isolation
because it is a hybrid. Hybrids are usually sterile causing reproductive isolation.
