Endothermic Organism

This is a blue heron in my yard. It is endothermic because its body temperature is above that of the surroundings.

    I keep track of the birds I've seen in my yard. It has NEVER included a Great Blue Heron!

    I see this heron about once a year. Luckily I saw it right before the end of June and it hung out long enough to take a picture of it.
