How To Write Scientific Names

Folks, just to be certain you've seen/heard this somewhere, there are two ways to correctly write scientific names. Of course, those names are two part names; part one is called the Genus and part two is the species. The genus should be capitalized and the species is lowercase. In addition, the genus and species should be italicized when they are typed (underlining is reserved for handwritten names). So, it should be;

Homo sapiens (for humans), not HOMO SAPIENS or Homo Sapiens or homo sapiens or .....
